HUNTING ON KAMCHATKA IS FASCINATING, UNFORGETTABLE AND SUCCESSFUL!

Kamchatka is a wonderful peninsula in the North-Eastern part of Eurasia in Russia. It is a land that places the largest population of brown bear, moose and bighorn sheep that are very popular hunting species. Here amateur, industrial and trophy wild bird and animal hunting has been permitted for a long time. It is stated in the Territory Rules of Hunting. Thus, remoteness of Kamchatka from nearly the whole world has helped it become the perfect hunting place. That is why so many hunters who love a serious catch are eager to visit Kamchatka and add to their trophy collection.

Everyone is likely to hear that the peninsula is called a “bear bastion”. This fact is very difficult to contradict as it is a place where Kamchatka brown bear, the largest representative of Eurasian brown bears, harbors. Kamchatka has a rich nutritive base that helps animals get unlimited nutrition in the form of plant and animal food and grow up to the huge size. The weight of the well-nourished male bear varies from 250 to 416 kg, female bear – from 160 to 362 kg. However, there also exist so-called phenomenon bears with the weight of 500, 560 and even 640 kg that is confirmed by facts.

Kamchatka moose is widely known all over the world. It is a subspecies of the East Siberia moose and harbors in Central Kamchatka, in the Penzhina River district near the Chukotka peninsula. It is also Kamchatka that is famous for another representative of the given species – the most powerful Yakut moose. For your information, the average weight of Kamchatka moose horns is 20-30 kg, sometimes even reaching 50 kg.

Thus one can imagine how every hunter appreciates hunting such a valuable animal.

One can’t but mention the bighorn sheep huntingin Kamchatka. The bighorn sheep in Kamchatka is considered to be the largest bighorn in Russia and one of the most desirable catch for hunters. These are bighorn sheep harboring on this peninsula that have the heaviest base of horns among all the bighorn sheep in Asia. Many people say that bighorn sheep hunting reminds a great deal of wild goat hunting. We would like to say that it differs much as severe climate conditions in Kamchatka require hunter to apply much more efforts to catch the bighorn sheep.

We would also like to note that these animals have perfect sight, well-developed hearing and sense of smell that is why it is very important to be attentive and cautious, to watch one’s movements in order not to frighten away the animal.

Thus, if you go for hunting on Kamchatka you will have more unforgettable impressions difficult to be compared with those you will have while hunting not far from the big city. So, welcome to the world of thrill and wonderful recreation that will last for 5-7 days.

You will live in a specially equipped tourist camp with kitchen, dining-room, Russian sauna, cooker, all the necessary utensils and bed-clothes. The camp is controlled by professional guides. You will be offered tasty and rich dishes served by highly-qualified cooks. All inclusive, one should say!As far as hunting is concerned it is recommended that 2-4 hunters come together. In that case chances for successful hunting increase greatly.

PLEASE NOTE THE HUNTING TIME ON KAMCHATKA:
